Roll Down Gate Training

The purpose of the roll down gate simulator is multi-faceted. It is designed to train and familiarize firefighters with the following:

• Proper way to use the saw at different angles

• Curtain cut

• Locking devices that will be encountered in the field along with multiple ways of forcing those locks

• A chain cutting/forcing station

• A roof ops platform to simulate flat roof cuts

• Basic Saw confidence (saw safety operation and maintenance)

• Basic Building Construction
